CloseDave is the Founder and MD of Eloquent. He is extremely driven (as everyone in the office will tell you) and very focused on building and growing the business. In his previous life Dave held a number of technical and management positions, particularly in the areas of IT Operations and Solutions Architecture. This experience is now being put to very good use. Specialties include: providing Private Cloud Services -from designing the solution, to migrating existing legacy on-premise IT equipment, and the on-going management, in order to reduce cost, complexity and increase productivity. To escape a busy and high pressure world Dave likes to cycle round Somerset. He also really enjoys spending time at the kart track with the team and Eloquent customers - slightly different to a regular office meeting! When he’s not haring round the countryside, Dave likes to spend time with his family and gardening.

Close Matt has been a Senior Engineer at Eloquent since April 2014. He has had a passion for computing from an early age. That combined with a varied background in the IT industry provides a solid understanding of a wide range of technical concepts. More recently this excellent foundation has been expanded upon with a focus on security at both the infrastructure and application level. In addition, this software developer is an ambassador for Docker deployment and deployment automation. In his free time Matt enjoys playing squash, rock climbing and motorbike track days. To balance his active lifestyle, he is also rather into American style bbq food and is a self-styled chocolate brownie connoisseur!

CloseSam joined Eloquent in September 2013. He brought with him 10+ years of experience in Network and Server infrastructure focused on Critical infrastructure and uptime. It seems that Sam has worked in pretty much every role at Eloquent – if the truth be known, he’s a bit of a workaholic! However, it has paid off; he is now responsible for the company’s core infrastructure and a Director. On the weekends Sam tries to catch up on a bit of a sleep, and is rather partial to tracking down good haunts for a Carvery and few cold beverages! Then he is recharged for Monday morning, ready to start all over again.

CloseScott joined the Eloquent Team in 2019 as Client Director, following 10+ years in a corporate Account Management role looking after large, global accounts. With nearly 20 years’ experience in the communications and IT services Industry, Scott brings a wealth of knowledge relating to commercial, sales & marketing and management, alongside an ‘old school’ work ethic. Based from home and out spending time with our Customers, we don’t tend to see Scott in the office much – however when he is there, the energy and enthusiasm for Customer Care is very much visible to us all On those rare times that Scott isn’t thinking about work, he is a volunteer zookeeper – well with 4 dogs, 4 musk turtles, tropical fish and two teenagers, that’s how he describes it! As well as this, he has a passion for both Football and Rugby Union – and is a fully qualified Rugby coach for multiple teams in Rugby, Warwickshire – as well as enjoying music, the theatre and spending time with family and friends.

CloseChris joined Eloquent in August 2018 as a Support Engineer. Chris has worked in the IT sector for several years with a Software Support background. Chris has a wealth of Customer Service experience, which he is putting to great use at Eloquent. When not in the office Chris enjoys running ultra marathons!

Close Harley joined the company in June 2017 after finishing an Apprenticeship elsewhere. He has a passion for technology, with a desire to learn and remain up to date with latest frameworks, but also maintain a thorough knowledge of the underlying language. His role includes support, development, and in his words ‘learning as much as I can’. Harley is experienced in many Software Methodologies, Languages and Processes, and has a well versed knowledge of Linux including building and hosting web servers and applications. When Harley isn’t feeding his thirst for knowledge, he enjoys some pretty hardcore interests such as rock climbing and martial arts … oh and bit of cycling if he fancies a slightly less adrenaline fuelled activity!

Close George joined Eloquent in September 2017 as a Support Engineer. Now he is one of our Software Developers working on some great projects for our customers. Prior to that, George worked in the IT sector so brought a wealth of knowledge with him which he has built on at Eloquent. When not in the office, George enjoys playing rugby.

CloseGeorge has been working with Eloquent since July 2015. Originally his role was as an apprentice, providing helpdesk support whilst attending college one day a week. Once George’s apprenticeship was complete he continued at Eloquent full time in IT support. Much of his time here has been spent liaising with customers and George takes enormous pride in being able to properly support and aid customers with all their queries and issues. George’s down time is split between spending time with friends, working out at the gym or playing video games.

CloseDave joined Eloquent in August 2015 as a Support Engineer. Now he is the Helpdesk Supervisor managing the small but perfectly formed support team. Prior to that, Dave worked for several years in the IT sector so brought a wealth of knowledge with him which he has put to great use at Eloquent. When not in the office, Dave enjoys socialising with friends or he hides away in his garage working hard to restore his classic Mini.

CloseBen joined Eloquent November 2018, he has great customer service experience in a technical capacity to support our customers with pre-sales and administration.
